Problems

ClosedCells locked: Why can't I enter time in some grid cells?

  • Time entries that have been Submitted or Approved are locked and cannot be edited.

  • Time Lockout has been enabled preventing you from entering or editing time for those days that are locked. You may request that the period be opened using the Exception Request button located next to the Time Lockout message. When Time Lockout is enabled, the lockout date is displayed in the upper right corner of the time entry view.

  • The project status has been modified by your administrator or manager.

  • Assignments have been removed.

  • Projects/Tasks have been deleted from the system.

ClosedNothing is displayed in the assignment tree on the left

ClosedConflicting time entries?

Overlapping (conflicting) time entries are not permitted in the time entry grid. You will receive an error message whenever you attempt to add a time entry that has conflicting start/end times with an existing entry or when there is no remaining gap large enough in the day to enter a duration of a certain size.

These scenarios usually occur when you use a combination of Bulk and Timer functionality to enter your time. As a general rule, you will either have to edit the present time entry or locate and modify the conflicting entry.

ClosedYou cannot add more than 200 tasks in a week

There is a limit to the number of task assignments someone can add to their weekly timesheet grid. By default, this limit is 200 task assignments.

  • Access to one or more views and functions may be have been disabled by your manager or administrator.
