The Project Planning tool's Project Scheduling view is used to create the project, its tasks and resource assignments.
The Project Planning tool is accessed via the menu (Menu > Views tab > Project Planning.
The Task pane is where a project's tasks and budgeted hours are entered.
The Gantt area shows the task's scheduled duration and employee assignments.
The Resources pane is used to assign employees or skillsets to a project's tasks. If you need to add an employee, this is done using the Project Assignments view.
