Operational Question - how is a project tracking?

How is a project tracking against its budget?

The Progress view provides the best overview of a project's progress as time is tracked against the assignments. The Progress view is accessed from the Project Scheduling view's toolbar.

Comparing finish dates:

At the bottom of the view, statistics and a project progress summary are provided.

Comparing timelines:

For each task, data representing the budget (Current Plan) is shown in blue and Projected Schedule is displayed in orange. The Current Plan is the timeline as set in the Project Scheduling view. The Projected Schedule is the projected hours based on actual time entered, updated ETCs and schedules from other projects. A thin black line in the blue timeline bar represents actual hours entered by the assigned employee. Read the Progress view topic for detailed instructions on interpreting the information provided in this view.

Comparing costs:

From the Project Scheduling view, the lower left corner of the screen displays budgeted and projected costs. Clicking anywhere in the data displays the actual costs.
